Nancy O'Dell started her career in broadcasting as reporter for WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. She worked later as morning news anchor on WCBD TV and also as a crime reporter. O'Dell's reportage in Charleston regarding the leniency of police officers towards DUI cases resulted in being the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the DUI incidents. Ms. O'Dell won the Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. In the years following her stay at Charleston, O'Dell worked as an anchor co-host for the NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV and as an investigative journalist. After that, she joined Access Hollywood to work as a weekday and weekend correspondent. O'Dell is the anchor of choice for Access Hollywood. In addition, she contributes to NBC News Today and Dateline NBC. She's reported on The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted various pre-show arrivals shows to The Emmys And The Golden Globes. In addition, she hosted the Miss USA pageant and the Miss Universe pageant.
